Kenapa Langit Berwarna Biru?

Sunlight looks white, so why is the sky blue? The answer hides inside the air above your head. Sunlight seems white, but it is really a mix of every color, just like a rainbow. Sunlight travels through space, enters our atmosphere, and crashes into countless tiny gas molecules floating in the air. These molecules scatter light in every direction. Short blue waves bounce around much more than long red waves. Scattered blue light reaches your eyes from every part of the sky, so the whole dome glows blue. At sunset, light crosses much more air. Blue scatters away, and the reds and oranges are all that remain. So the sky is blue because air scatters blue light best. Look up tomorrow and remember: you are seeing physics.
