GenPixy AI prompt examples help you turn a broad idea into a topic that is clear enough for a short explainer video. The most useful prompt tells the app what to explain and who needs to understand it.
You can start with one sentence. Add detail when it helps the explanation. Don't pad the prompt just to make it longer.
Below are eight topics you can copy, each with a reason to choose it.
A simple prompt pattern
Use this structure:
Explain [one question] for [audience]. Use [language]. Cover [two or three key points]. Use [a familiar example] to make the idea clear.
A prompt sets the direction. It doesn't guarantee exact wording or a specific picture. Watch the finished video before sharing it.
Choose the actual duration, format, and style in the form. If you use Match settings to prompt, review the suggested choices before you create the video.
1. A primary school science lesson
Explain how rain forms for primary school students. Use simple English. Describe water evaporating, clouds forming, and water falling as rain. Use a puddle after a sunny day as an example.
This works as a lesson opener because it follows one process students can recognize.
2. An everyday question
Explain why we yawn for curious beginners. Use simple English. Keep the explanation focused on what researchers know and what is still uncertain. Avoid presenting one theory as a proven fact.
Questions like this give viewers a clear reason to watch. Check scientific claims before you post.
3. A business concept
Explain the difference between revenue and profit for someone starting a small bakery. Use English and a simple example involving bread sales and ingredient costs. Explain why sales alone do not show how much a business earns.
A familiar business example is easier to follow than an abstract definition.
4. A history introduction
Explain why the printing press mattered for students new to European history. Use English. Focus on how printed books changed access to information. Keep dates and names accurate, and avoid invented quotations.
Use the result as an introduction, then check it against the sources you use for your lesson.
5. A short video with one practical idea
Explain why bread becomes dry when left uncovered. Use simple English for home cooks. Focus on moisture loss and one everyday kitchen example. Keep the topic narrow.
One question gives a short video enough room to explain something useful.
6. A study skills explainer
Explain active recall for university students. Use English. Show the difference between rereading notes and trying to answer a question from memory. Use preparing for a biology exam as the example.
Viewers get an action they can try right after watching.
7. A product concept without invented claims
Explain what a reusable water bottle is for first-time buyers. Use English. Describe its general purpose and common uses. Do not invent a brand, price, certification, or performance claim.
If the product is real, swap the general topic for facts you have checked.
8. A two-language learning topic
Explain why the moon appears to change shape for beginners. Use English. Describe the changing view of its sunlit half. Make clear that ordinary moon phases are not caused by Earth's shadow.
Then make a separate version with Indonesian narration for a different audience. Same learning goal, and review each version on its own.
What does the result look like?
Improve a prompt that feels too broad
Instead of “explain marketing,” ask “explain the difference between a feature and a benefit for a small shop owner.” Then add one example your audience already knows.
Cut requests that compete for space. A short video about rain does not also need to cover climate change and the history of weather forecasting.
